You can gain crates from the customer orders. Even though the crates spawn chained items, they have a higher drop rate than regular spawners.
Crates don't have cooldown periods, so they can be used without waiting. You can store your crates in your inventory to open up space on your game board.
The color and icons on the crates are the indicators for their item groups.
